Elisabeth Tonnard

One Swimming Pool is a book that functions as a portable swimming pool for the bookshelf or the floor. It is based on Ed Ruscha’s book Nine Swimming Pools and a Broken Glass from which one swimming pool was photographed. If the sheets from One Swimming Pool are carefully removed and laid down next to each other, this swimming pool can be installed at the size of a small swimming pool.

The installation takes a day to complete, and measures ± 648 x 648 cm. The sheets remain loose on the floor.
