Shine On

In celebration of World Book Night 2015 this film showing miniature models made in response to Stephen King’s book The Shining was made at the Centre for Fine Print Research in Bristol. A book of the project is also forthcoming. An overview of models here.

On press for World Book Night

My Bukowski inspired OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhHHHH! is ready for printing by Sarah Bodman at the Centre for Fine Print Research in Bristol tonight (in celebration of World Book Night). The invitation was to create a summary of Bukowski’s Post Office. Wishing everyone happy printing!

Update on availability of ‘Recounted’

To coincide with the end of Ed Ruscha’s 75th year, Recounted will be taken out of circulation at the end of December. If you want a copy, please order it before that time. Recounted was realized as a part of ABCED, which has since been shown internationally, most recently at Gagosian Gallery, NY and the Museum Brandhorst in Munich, Germany. Recounted also inspired my other Ed Ruscha remake: One Swimming Pool.

Local Colour

Local Colour: Ghosts, variations (published December 2012) is a collaboration between In Edit Mode Press and Canadian poet Derek Beaulieu. Points of departure are Paul Auster’s novella Ghosts and, in particular, Derek Beaulieu’s reworking of Auster’s text, Local Colour. It can be ordered here.
