A book to dive into
One Swimming Pool at Arti et Amicitiae. The opening reception is tonight. The exhibition runs till June 22. The drawing on the wall in the second picture is by Robbie Cornelissen.
Exhibition Living Space
The Invisible Book will be on view in Surface habitable/Living Space at Chaumont Design Graphique, as part of the International Poster and Graphic Design Festival. The work was selected by Loraine Furter. The exhibition runs from May 17 to June 9 in Chaumont, France.
Exhibition Staged City
My work One Swimming Pool will be on view in Staged City at Arti & Amicitiae in Amsterdam. The show is curated by Laura van Rijs and Petra Noordkamp and includes work by Jan Adriaans, Maria Barnas, Robbie Cornelissen, Pawel Jaszczuk, Lucas Lenglet, Petra Noordkamp, Paulien Oltheten, Pablo Pijnappel, Diana Scherer, Arjan van Helmond, Sarah van Sonsbeeck, Batia Suter, Rogier Taminiau and Elisabeth Tonnard.
The exhibition runs from May 24 till June 22. Opening night: May 23, 8PM – 10PM.

Thanks for Writing
Two of my books are on the shelf curated by Victor Sira for the Thanks for Writing show at 601 Artspace in Chelsea. A show on texts as art, including works by John Baldessari, Ann Hamilton and Christian Marclay. The show runs from February 27 till June 14, 2014, at 601 West 26th St. #1755, New York, NY 10001.
Exhibition in Heerlen
My work in the show ‘Eeuwige Jachtvelden’ curated by Maarten Dings for Kunstencentrum Signe in Heerlen, The Netherlands. The text is from De wereld zou meeuw, particularly a section on the boredom of growing up in the surroundings of Heerlen. The show runs from December 13 till January 26. Exhibition at Johan Deumens Gallery
Next week I am participating in the exhibition Correspondences at Johan Deumens Gallery in Amsterdam. The opening reception is on June 6th, from 17:00 till 20:00 at Gabriel Metsustraat 8.
Exhibition in München
From June 6 till September 22 One Swimming Pool will be on view at the Museum Brandthorst (München) in the exhibition Ed Ruscha Books & Co. This is to a large extent a prolongation of the show that was at Gagosian earlier. Besides this show there will also be other books, photographs and paintings by Ruscha on view.
Library of the Printed Web
Paul Soulellis will present the Library of the Printed Web at The Book Affair, at the opening of the 55th Venice Biennale, 29–31 May. The presentation will include my work and that of some 30 other artists, including Penelope Umbrico, Joachim Schmid, David Horvitz, Fraser Clark, Mishka Henner, Guthrie Lonergan, Lauren Thorson, Clement Valla, and Jason Huff.
Two Minute Exhibition video
On April 12 I had a two minute exhibition at Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, NY, timed during VSW’s Annual Auction. David Mount made a wonderful documentation of the show. Watch it here.
